| The TRI-STATE SKI CLUB is a year-round sports and activities club, located in Evansville, Indiana. The Tri-State Ski Club offers over twenty-five different activities for individuals with a multitude of interests. If you would like to join the Tri-State Ski Club, please feel free to attend one of our monthly meetings. Club meetings are held the second Sunday of every month, the location can change, so check the Newsletter! THE HIKE--------------- On Saturday, February 7th, 9 fun-loving hikers braved the remnants of ice and snow while enjoying a perfect 55+ degree day. We carpooled less than an hour to David Gonnerman’s brother’sland of 450 rolling acres… just outside Holland, IN. Aggie sported new hiking boots. Avid hikers Mary Carl, and Betsy joined other club members. Tessa introducing her unusually fit boyfriend Zak. They were all great! Frozen lakes and rolling hills glistened as we crunched and sometimes slid a bit over several fun and sometimes challenging miles. Animal prints of turkey and deer were frozen in time. Best game eye goes to Tom Hilgeman who pointed out 7 deer. We stopped for lunch, sharing food and playfulbantering…while overlooking a frozen stripper pit with an active beaver den. All want to return. We will hike this area again before the weather brings out the critters. Join us! Dave Gonnerman
